Microblading is one technique of permanent makeup that uses a small, disposable hand tool to implant pigment into the skin to mimic the look of hair. The fine lines created with microblading flow and follow the natural pattern of your individual brows allowing the end result to appear fuller and blend seamlessly.
Microblading is only suitable for those with normal/dry skin types. NOT suitable for oily, porous/textured or sensitive skin.

Ombré/ powder brows is a technique of permanent makeup that is meant to give the looks of a soft powder in the brows. This style of brows offers more definition, however still has the ability to look very natural.
This technique can be used on most but is most suitable for those whose skin types are more combination/oily or those who have textured/porous skin.

Your brows to go through a variety of healing stages over the next 10-14 days. They will appear to be dark and thick initially, but DON’T PANIC. Immediately after, and for the first few days expect them to get increasingly darker as the scabs begin to form. Once the brows are done shedding, you may notice that your brows now appear to be too light. But again, DON’T PANIC. The pigment will slowly reappear as your brows fully heal over the next 6 weeks.
After your first visit, it is likely that your brows are going to fade 30%-50%, this is completely normal! At your 6 week touch up appointment we will build on the color and make any other adjustments needed.

Healing is quick and easy! Lips initially will be swollen (think plump and juicy) and the color will be vibrant. As the heal they will shed and you will notice the color soften. You may notice the pigment looking light or patchy, this is totally normal! The color will shift as you heal and you should see the true color about 1 month out.

Sometimes. I take on previous work/corrections on a limited case by case basis. Typically, most of the pigment needs to have faded away to allow for the best possible results. Contact me with clear photos of your brows to determine if you are a good candidate.

Yes! All PMU services require at least two sessions. I like to call the touch up appointment the “perfecting appointment.” This is where the true magic happens! Since we expect your brows and lips to fade considerably, your touch up is used to build on the color, shape, shade etc.
-
While the procedure is not completely painless, I do my best to ease your discomfort with the use topical anesthetics. However, it is important to keep in mind that everyone’s pain tolerance is different!
-
Cosmetic tattooing is considered “semi-permanent” as it does not wash away, however the pigments used are designed to fade over time. Touch ups are recommended every 1-3 years depending on your skin (oiler skin tends to fade quicker) and lifestyle (ie. sun exposure, smoking, exfoliant, etc). Please note that final results CAN NOT be guaranteed as everyone has a unique skin type, all of which breakdown pigment differently.

YES! Most importantly you’ll need to bring a valid government issued photo ID. If you do not have a photo ID physically present, you cannot receive a service, per the Minnesota Department of Health. An example of a valid government issued photo ID includes a drivers license, passport, tribal ID, and expired/voided license WITH accompanying temporary papers. Without this, we will not be able to perform your service.
I also recommend bringing inspiration photos! Find a few examples of what you like, and even what you don’t like! For lip blushing I also recommend bringing in your favorite lip color if you’d like to go off of that!
Feel free to bring a blanket, headphones and whatever else you need to be comfortable!
